How to Personalize Your Prayer Mat (Step-by-Step Guide)
Designing a prayer mat that's truly yours takes about two minutes. Pick a color and size, add a name (or several), choose a font, and we'll make it just for you. Before anything is printed, we email you a preview to approve.
Here's exactly what you'll see on the product page.
Step 1: Choose your color
Each design comes in several colors. Tap a color to see it on the main photo. The color you picked is shown next to Color and outlined in gold.
Tip: Ordering a pair or a family set? Choose the same design for everyone. Each person can pick a different color, or you can all match.
Step 2: Pick your size
Tap Size to see every size, drawn to scale so you can compare them at a glance.
- Single: 26″×45″ (L) for one person, or 32″×52″ (XL) for extra room
- Family & group: one long mat for 2, 3, 4 or 5 people side by side, with a prayer place for each person
The price for each size is shown under it.
Not sure? Measure your prayer space, or tape the size out on the floor. Every family mat is 45″ deep. Each extra person adds about 23″ to the length.
Step 3: Add a name (optional)
Under Personalization, type the name you'd like printed on the mat. You can use up to 30 characters, and the counter shows how many you've used. You can also write initials, a date or a short message, in any language.
Prefer a mat without a name? Just leave the box empty.
Family mats: when you choose a size for 2 to 5 people, you get one box per person (Person 1, Person 2…). Each place on the mat carries its own name.
Please check the spelling, capital letters and accents carefully. We print exactly what you type.
Step 4: Choose your font
Tap Font to see all the fonts, each written in its own style. The one you choose is highlighted in gold. Fonts 1 to 4 are handwritten scripts that feel elegant and flowing. Fonts 5 and 6 are classic letters that are easy to read from a distance.
Tip: Long names look best in Font 5 or 6. Short names really stand out in a script font.
Step 5: Set the quantity and add to cart
Ordering more than one of the same mat, with the same name? Use + to change the quantity. If the mats need different names, colors or sizes, add each one to the cart separately.
Then tap Add to cart and check out.
Step 6: Approve your proof
After you order, our designers lay out your name, so the spacing and size look just right. Then we email you a digital preview of your mat. We start printing only after you reply "Approved". If something needs to change, just reply and tell us.
We also save your final design, so it's easy to reorder or to make a matching mat later.
Step 7: Delivery
- Made to order: your mat is printed and shipped within 2–5 business days after you approve the proof.
- Free tracked shipping to all 50 US states and Washington, D.C., usually 2–5 business days.
- No customs or import fees to pay on delivery.
Tips for a perfect mat
- Measure your space before choosing a family size.
- Keep it short. Shorter text prints larger and clearer.
- Gifting? Type the name exactly as the person spells it, including any titles.
- Match the mood. Delicate fonts suit light colors; bolder fonts stand out on dark colors.

Can I order a mat without a name?
Yes. Personalization is optional. Just leave the box empty.
Can I put more than one name on a mat?
Yes. Choose a family size (2 to 5 people) and you'll get a box for each person. Couples sets are another option: two matching mats, each with its own name.
Can the name be in Arabic, Turkish or another language?
Yes. Type it in any language and we'll print it as written, including accents and special characters.
Will I see the design before it's printed?
Yes. We email you a proof, and we print only after you reply "Approved".
How long will it take?
Usually 4–10 business days in total, from your order to your door.
Can I return a personalized mat?
Each mat is made just for you, so we can't accept returns for change of mind or the wrong size. If your mat arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, email support@muslumana.com with a photo within 7 days of delivery. We'll replace it or refund you, at no cost to you.
How do I wash it?
Single mats fit a regular home washing machine. Wash cool (30°C / 86°F) on a gentle cycle. Family mats need a large-capacity machine, like the ones at a laundromat.
